Terms. Words. Define existence of the abstract.
What shall we do with our current, modern artistic thought? We cannot call them Modern, for we’ve done the post-modern thing…. shall we ruin contemporary as well. Will the term contemporary come to imply something that will also go out of fashion? Is it weird to even think about current events in historical categories for the future?
What the hell is modern anyways? What does that even mean?
Modern, Post-modern, contemporary… its the stuff we are making and the shit that we still think is relevant
This blog is not afraid of history either. When you rid the present from the past you feel empty and tend to be sycophantic. So there are likely to be references that are worth examining and your own conclusions to draw.
